IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE VIRTUAL EVENT PLATFORM

The conference will be held fully online in our Virtual Event Portal. The virtual event portal will be opened for presenters and attendees by 19 June 2021. 

 

1. GENERAL INFO

 

1.1 Login to the Virtual Event Portal

 

To login to the online portal to see the conference timeline, you will need to use your email address (username) and Pin code (see "Ready for the virtual event.." email) which will be sent to the registered e-mail address starting 19 June 2021. These details will be provided to all registered participants prior to the start of the conference.

 

As a poster presenter please make sure to join your poster session 5 min prior to the start of the session and have your PPT or PDF presentation open to share your screen with participants.

 

1.2 Allow Audio and Webcam 

 

At the start during login, you will be asked by the browser for permission to access your webcam and microphone in order to join the sessions. This is important so that you can have a smooth experience of the event using the platform.

 

1.3 Refresh Browser

 

If you cannot see the session anymore or if you are having challenges with your audio please refresh your browser or try to sign-out and to sign back in.

2. WEBCAM AND MICROPHONE ACCESS

 

2.1 Attendees access to Webcam and Microphone

 

As an attendee, you will not have any access to your webcam and microphone in general sessions except for networking sessions, any one-on-one meeting with the exhibitors and any one-on-one meeting with other attendees.

 

Chat is activated in all sessions. Any questions for the presenters in both general and poster session can be submitted via the Q&A widget on the right hand side of the screen. 

 

2.2 Presenters access to Webcam and Microphone 

 

As a presenter, you will have access to your webcam and microphone during your poster session, networking sessions, any one-on-one meeting with the exhibitors and any one-on-one meeting with other attendees. 

 

3. MEETING HUB 

 

Meeting Hub is the networking space where attendees and presenters can connect with one another through either one of the following options of choice: 

 

  1. Scheduled Meeting 

  2. Video Call 

  3. Chat Message 

 

Any contacts exchanged between the attendees and presenters can be downloaded after the event using the “EXPORT” feature on the top right corner of your screen.

 

4. EXHIBITION 

 

Sponsors have made this event possible and some of them will be setting up virtual exhibition stands during the event. Please spend some time visiting their virtual exhibition stands and you can connect with them by scheduling a one-on-one meeting, video conferencing or leave them a chat message through the platform. 

 

Any brochures, videos and documents made available for your download using the “EXPORT” feature on the top right corner of your screen. 

 

5. SUPPORT 

 

For any technical enquiries or support, please find the “Support” icon on the top right corner of your screen. Our dedicated support colleague will be available online to take you through.
